The NexaKey NS-6000GS-24P2U2S is an enterprise-grade 24-port gigabit unmanaged Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch engineered to provide high-bandwidth connectivity, long-distance optical fiber distribution, and centralized power distribution across large-scale commercial surveillance installations, corporate Wi-Fi access arrays, VoIP telephony deployments, and multi-building enterprise backbones. Housed in a standardized 19-inch 1U Black industrial metal chassis with included rackmount brackets, it integrates directly into server cabinets, network control rooms, and structured cabling racks.
The switch features an expansive 28-port physical layout, offering 24 dedicated 10/100/1000 Mbps PoE downlink ports, 2 independent 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 gigabit copper uplinks, and 2 independent 1000 Mbps SFP optical transceiver slots. The dual copper gigabit uplinks provide direct connections to 32- or 64-channel Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and core routing equipment without consuming downstream PoE capacity. The dual SFP fiber slots allow system integrators to configure redundant fiber rings or connect distant multi-floor distribution points across university campuses and industrial complexes beyond the 100-meter physical boundary of standard copper wiring.
