The ZKTeco ZKB202S 2D Wireless Image Barcode Scanner is a high-performance, robust, and highly flexible cordless data collection solution engineered to streamline modern retail point-of-sale (POS) environments, logistics hubs, pharmacies, and inventory management operations. Weighing an ergonomic 170 grams and shaped for comfortable handling across long shifts, this plug-and-play scanner eliminates the movement restrictions of wired models. It features a smart dual wireless architecture, allowing users to switch easily between a standard 2.4GHz USB dongle for long-range warehouse tracking (up to 60–150 meters in open spaces) and an integrated Bluetooth link for mobile direct pairing with laptops, tablets, or Android registers.
At its core, the ZKB202S relies on an advanced $640 \times 480$ CMOS imaging matrix paired with a high-speed 32-bit ARM processing chip. This provides aggressive decoding capabilities that instantly capture standard high-density 1D barcodes, complex 2D data formats like QR codes, and PDF417 transport documents. The engine is specifically tuned to decode hard-to-read markings, executing instant captures on high-density, low-contrast, smudged, faded, or wrinkled labels. Equipped with intelligent white auxiliary LED illumination and a crisp red target pointer, it reads codes from reflective plastic film, paper packaging, and digital LCD or OLED smartphone screens for mobile wallet transactions.
The scanner also features smart offline management tools designed for situations with weak signals or off-site data mapping. It provides a generous 16MB internal flash memory buffer, enabling users to shift into Storage Mode and accumulate up to 100,000 product codes locally, which automatically upload to the host station upon reconnection.
