The NexaKey NX20 is a commercial-grade online biometric time attendance and basic access control terminal engineered to provide accurate workforce logging, multi-branch network synchronization, and secure door entry control across corporate offices, retail branches, educational institutions, manufacturing floors, and commercial establishments. Enclosed in a compact, durable Black industrial ABS housing with a wall-mountable footprint, the NX20 provides a streamlined, tamper-resistant installation that fits cleanly next to office entry doors or inside staff reception vestibules.
Powered by a 32-bit DSP processor executing the BioTH3.0 biometric algorithm, the terminal delivers fast identity matching in under 1 second. The scratch-resistant 500 DPI optical fingerprint sensor is paired with multi-factor authentication, allowing staff to clock in using biometric fingerprints, 125 kHz RFID proximity cards, or personalized security passwords. Accommodating up to 3,000 fingerprints, 5,000 RFID cards, 5,000 users, and a massive 200,000 offline transaction log buffer, the device easily manages high-density shift rotations without memory bottlenecks. Daily interactions are guided by an integrated 2.4-inch color TFT LCD screen, responsive physical keypad buttons, and human voice prompts that provide instant audible and visual verification feedback.
Engineered specifically as a true online attendance terminal, the NX20 connects directly via TCP/IP Ethernet to sync punch logs instantly with centralized head-office HR and attendance software, eliminating the hassle of manually collecting data via USB thumb drives. In addition to work-hour auditing, the terminal incorporates an onboard access control relay interface to directly drive standard third-party electromagnetic locks, drop bolts, and push-to-exit buttons for standalone secure door management. Configurable Wiegand 26/34 signaling ensures full compatibility when integrating the unit as an edge reader into wider third-party building security controllers.
