Technical Specifications

Product Description

The Imou IPC-PS2M-5R1 (Ranger Mini PoE 5MP / PS2M 5MP) is a compact indoor pan-and-tilt security camera engineered to bring 3K ultra-high-definition surveillance to business networks, commercial offices, retail shops, and residences. Built with an integrated multi-angle bracket and weighing only 200 grams, it installs easily on desktops, vertical walls, or inverted ceilings without requiring separate mounting plates. The camera features IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) alongside a secondary DC 5V input, transmitting both high-speed video data and electrical power through a single RJ-45 Ethernet cable to streamline installations and eliminate wall adapter clutter. Equipped with a 1/3" 5-megapixel progressive CMOS sensor and a 3.6mm F1.6 lens, it captures detailed 2880 × 1620 video at up to 25/30 frames per second, while motorized 0° to 355° panning and -5° to 50° tilting provide 360-degree panoramic coverage to eliminate blind spots. In low-light environments, its four smart night vision modes utilize infrared and white LED illumination to deliver color clarity up to 15 meters.

Driven by IMOU SENSE deep-learning artificial intelligence, the camera accurately identifies human and vehicle targets, filtering out false alerts caused by moving curtains, insects, or pets. When unauthorized movement is recognized, smart auto-tracking follows the target across the coverage zone, backed by an auto-cruise patrol function that cycles through key room positions automatically. Active deterrence features include an integrated spotlight and a customizable siren to discourage trespassers, combined with abnormal sound detection for sudden high-decibel events like crying or glass breaking. The camera also incorporates an All-Day Storage Saving Recording (AOR) mode that records at 1 FPS during idle periods and shifts to full frame rates during events, saving storage space across MicroSD cards up to 512GB, Imou Cloud, or ONVIF-compliant NVRs. With full-duplex two-way talk, a one-touch physical privacy shield, and a 1-year warranty, the Imou IPC-PS2M-5R1 provides a flexible and clear indoor surveillance solution.
