Simon Chen originally established the Taiwan-based memory, storage, and computer case manufacturer ADATA in May 2001. Its main line of products includes DRAM modules, USB Flash drives, hard disk drives, solid-state drives, memory cards, and mobile accessories. ADATA also diversifies into new markets, such as robotics and electric powertrain systems. ADATA had a market capitalization of US$680 million in 2017 and was the world's second-largest DRAM module manufacturer.
